Biodiversity keeps ecosystems alive.

Long-term experiments from the Tibetan Plateau, exploring stability, multifunctionality, and the relationships among plants, herbivores, and microbes.

Our focus

Ecology across time and scale

We investigate how biodiversity supports ecosystem productivity, stability, and nutrient cycling. Our work combines long-term field experiments, restoration practice, and landscape-scale observation to understand how alpine grasslands respond to biodiversity loss and environmental change.
